Sunday, April 27, 2025We are celebrating the first millennium saint of the Catholic Church!Mark your calendars- Sunday, April 27, 2025.On this day, when we also celebrate Divine Mercy Sunday, Pope Francis will canonize Carlo Acutis in Rome, during the Jubilee celebrations of the youth!
In his honor, we will exhibit the
"Eucharistic Miracles of the World"
in Duffy Hall after each mass. (English and Spanish)This exhibit was designed and created by Carlo, who greatly loved the Eucharist.At age 15, Carlo was diagnosed with untreatable leukemia. He offered up his suffering for others coping with illness and said, “I offer all the suffering I will have to suffer for the Lord, for the Pope, and the Church.” Carlo died from his illness on Oct. 12, 2006.******¡Celebramos al primer santo milennial de la Iglesia Católica!Apunten en sus calendarios: el domingo 27 de abril de 2025.En este día, cuando también celebramos el domingo de la Divina Misericordia, el Papa Francisco canonizará a Carlo Acutis en Roma, durante las celebraciones del Jubileo de la Juventud.En su honor, exhibiremos los

en el Duffy Hall después de cada misa. (en ingles y español)-Esta exhibición fue diseñada y creada por Carlo, un gran amante de la Eucaristía.A los 15 años, a Carlo le diagnosticaron leucemia intratable. Ofreció su sufrimiento por quienes afrontaban enfermedad y dijo: "Ofrezco todo el sufrimiento que tendré que sufrir por el Señor, por el Papa y por la Iglesia". Carlo falleció a causa de su enfermedad el 12 de octubre de 2006.
